CITY COUNCIL CONSENT ITEMS
Matters appearing on the Consent Calendar are expected to be non-controversial and will be acted upon by the City Council at one time, without discussion, unless a Councilmember or the Administration requests an opportunity to address any given item. Items removed from the Consent Calendar will be discussed at the beginning of the Formal Items. Approval by the City Council of Consent Items means that the recommendation of the Administration is approved along with the terms and conditions described in the Administrative Report. |

a. Cancel the special joint meeting of the City Council and the Ventura Port District Board of Port Commissioners on Thursday, April 14, 2011.
b. Cancel the regular meeting of the City Council on Monday, April 18, 2011, and reschedule a special meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
c. Cancel the special joint meeting of the City Council and the Parks and Recreation Commission on Thursday, May 5, 2011, to be rescheduled on a date to be determined.
d. Cancel the special joint meeting of the City Council and the Library Advisory Commission on June 9, 2011, and reschedule on Thursday, June 16, 2011.

Surfers Point Managed Shoreline Retreat Project Construction Contract Change Order (35)

a. Authorize the Mayor to approve the contract change order for the Surfers Point Shoreline Managed Retreat Project, Specification No. 2008 -16 to the construction contract with C.A. Rasmussen Inc., in the amount of $278,790.48.
b. Increase appropriations and encumber funds from the General Fund Capital Project Bonds (RDA 2008 TAB) to the Surfers Point Managed Shoreline Retreat Project (Program 93959) in the amount of $398,025 and authorize the Finance and Technology Department to record the changes to the proper funds, projects, and accounts.
