CITY COUNCIL CONSENT ITEMS
Matters appearing on the Consent Calendar are expected to be non-controversial and will be acted upon by the City Council at one time, without discussion, unless a Councilmember or the Administration requests an opportunity to address any given item. Items removed from the Consent Calendar will be discussed at the beginning of the Formal Items. Approval by the City Council of Consent Items means that the recommendation of the Administration is approved along with the terms and conditions described in the Administrative Report. |

Seaward Avenue Bike Safety Improvements, Transportation Development Act Article 3 Grant Acceptance (31)
|
a. Adopt a resolution to accept $50,000 in Transportation Development Act Article 3 Funds from the Ventura County Transportation Commission for the Seaward Avenue Bike Safety Improvements Project.
b. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to act as agent for the City to conduct all negotiations and execute and submit all documents, including, without limitation, applications, agreements, amendments, and billing statements that may be necessary to accept and implement the grant and complete the project.
c. Amend the 2014 -2020 Capital Improvement Projects Plan to include the Seaward Avenue Bike Safety Improvements Project (91047).
d. Authorize the Finance and Technology Department to assign increased appropriations and revenues to the proper projects and accounts for their use as provided in the grant for the project, including increased appropriations for the match needed to complete the project, and necessary transfers.

CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING
|
a. Receive and accept recommendations for water use restrictions from the Water Shortage Task Force.
b. Adopt a resolution declaring a water shortage emergency within the City’s water service area.
c. Adopt an emergency ordinance adopting water use regulations and restrictions to address a water shortage emergency and implement regulations adopted by the State of California.
